I love coming here for a hearty breakfast or a strong lunch—plates are generous, delicious, and very local. They also have simple favorites like hamburgers and chicken fingers, all with super friendly service. A great place to taste real Costa Rican flavors.

Soda y Heladeria Arenal

​A cozy family-run spot right in the center of town, located in front of the soccer field and the church. It’s the only place to enjoy ice cream in Nuevo Arenal, and they also serve delicious traditional dishes like casados, as well as favorites such as nachos, patanachos, and patacones—plus simple fast-food options. A great stop for a casual bite or a sweet treat.
