Ever since my very first visit in 2009, Costa Rica’s warm-hearted people, emerald landscapes, and genuine Pura Vida spirit captured my heart—and never let go. As an immigrant who’s navigated the ups and downs of starting a new life, I understand what it’s like to live nomadically or set roots in an unfamiliar place.
