Hola! I’m Marynes, founder of Airelibre :)
Ever since my very first visit in 2009, Costa Rica’s warm-hearted people, emerald landscapes, and genuine Pura Vida spirit captured my heart—and never let go. As an immigrant who’s navigated the ups and downs of starting a new life, I understand what it’s like to live nomadically or set roots in an unfamiliar place. Through Airelibre Adventures, Homes & Rentals, I welcome you into my favorite Lake Arenal retreats—fully furnished, family-like havens where I found the peace and serenity essential for a happy life. Beyond a comfy bed, I guide you to the real, local Costa Rica—uncovering hidden gems and sharing the true essence of this beautiful country.

Why "Airelibre"?
We chose the name Airelibre—which blends the Spanish words for air and freedom—because it reflects what we believe matters most: the freedom to breathe deeply, to live simply, and to feel fully alive.
For us, Airelibre is more than just outdoor living. It’s about creating spaces where you can reconnect with nature, with yourself, and with what really matters. Whether you're staying for a few days or settling in for a longer chapter, we want you to feel the light, the breeze, and the peace that makes Lake Arenal so special.
We design our rentals and homes with this spirit in mind: safe, well-ventilated spaces filled with natural light, places that inspire calm, clarity, and creativity.
