We are surrounded by tropical forest and plants, which are home to many kinds of animals, including insects. These little creatures can squeeze under any door or window, so please keep your suite tidy, wipe up crumbs, don't leave food out, and don't let the trash bin get too full, or you will attract unwanted guests. Costa Rica has a microclimate. The weather can be hot and humid one minute and then powerful rainstorms the next. We cannot control the weather. Power outages are common during the wet season, and we have no control over them and can't predict when they will occur.
